The Baby Room (3 to 18 Months)
A Home Away From Home
We understand that leaving your baby in a nursery setting for the first time is a major milestone. To make this transition as seamless and comforting as possible, our baby room is designed to feel like a true extension of your home. We work closely with you to replicate your baby’s existing routines, ensuring they feel safe, settled, and deeply cared for.
Dedicated Care and Attention
To guarantee the highest level of personalized attention, we operate on a strict 1-to-3 staff-to-child ratio in this room. Our days are filled with gentle sensory play, comforting cuddles, and focused developmental activities designed specifically for infants and young toddlers.
Your Child’s Daily Diary
Staying connected to your baby’s day is essential. Our team maintains a comprehensive Daily Diary for every child. When you arrive for pick-up, you will receive a full breakdown of their day, including exact details on their sleep patterns, nappy changes, feeding times, and the new things they explored.
Milk & Formula Requirements
As your baby grows, we will fully support their weaning journey. However, we do require parents to supply their child’s specific formula milk from home to ensure consistency with their diet.

The Toddler Room (1-2 years)
A World of Discovery
As your child transitions from a baby into an active toddler, their world expands rapidly! This is a magical stage filled with newfound mobility, a rapidly growing vocabulary, and an endless curiosity about everything around them. Our Toddler Room is specifically designed to safely channel this boundless energy and encourage their growing desire to explore.
Focused Care & Guidance
Because this age group is incredibly active and requires close supervision, we maintain a highly dedicated staff-to-child ratio [Insert exact ratio from your site, e.g., 1-to-3 or 1-to-4]. This ensures your toddler gets the focused attention they need as they practice walking, talking, and interacting with their peers.
Learning Through Active Play
Toddlers learn best when they are fully engaged and having fun. Our daily routine introduces a gentle, flexible structure filled with exciting activities. Your child will enjoy:
- Sensory & Messy Play: Exploring textures through sand, water, and safe paints.
- Expression & Language: Daily group singing, music sessions, and interactive storytimes.
- Physical Development: Plenty of secure outdoor play to develop coordination and burn off that toddler energy!
Fostering Early Independence
This is the perfect age to start building self-confidence. We gently encourage our toddlers to begin doing things for themselves. Whether it’s practicing using a spoon at meal times, washing their own hands, or choosing which toys they want to play with, we celebrate every little milestone of independence.
Your Daily Updates
We know how quickly toddlers change and grow, and we don’t want you to miss a thing. You will continue to receive a comprehensive Daily Diary at the end of each session. This will detail exactly what they ate, how long they slept, their nappy changes, and all the fun adventures they had that day!

The Nursery Class (2-3 years)
Preparing for the Next Big Step
Welcome to the Pre-School room! This is an exciting and crucial stage in your child’s journey as we begin preparing them for the transition to primary school. Our goal here is to build upon their natural curiosity and transform it into a lifelong love for learning, all within a structured yet highly playful environment.
Learning Through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Our curriculum is carefully designed to meet all the goals of the EYFS framework. We blend child-led play with adult-guided activities to ensure a well-rounded education. Your child will engage in:
- Early Literacy & Phonics: Fun, interactive games that introduce letter sounds, mark-making, and early reading skills.
- Mathematics & Problem Solving: Counting, sorting, and understanding shapes and numbers through everyday play.
- Understanding the World: Exploring nature, science, and the community around them.
Building True Independence
School readiness is about much more than just the ABCs; it’s about social and emotional confidence. In this room, we place a massive emphasis on independence. We actively encourage the children to serve their own meals, pour their own drinks, put on their own coats and shoes, and manage their own bathroom routines.
Expert Care & Dedicated Ratios
To ensure your child receives the right balance of independent exploration and guided learning, we operate with a strict statutory staff-to-child ratio of [Insert exact ratio from your site, e.g., 1-to-8]. Our highly qualified early years educators are experts at spotting and nurturing each child’s unique talents.
Tracking Their Progress
We continuously observe and assess your child’s development against the EYFS milestones. We maintain a detailed learning journal for your child, which tracks their incredible progress. We regularly share these updates with you, ensuring you are fully involved in their educational journey right up until the day they graduate to “big school.”

The Pre-School Classroom (3-5 years)
A Stepping Stone to Big School
Welcome to the Pre-School Classroom! This vibrant and dynamic room is the final, exciting step in your child’s early years journey with us. Our primary focus here is “school readiness.” We aim to ensure that by the time your child leaves us for primary school, they are confident, socially adept, and eager to take on new challenges.
Structured Yet Playful Learning (EYFS)
While play remains at the absolute heart of everything we do, the Classroom introduces a slightly more structured routine to prepare them for a school environment. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, our activities focus on:
- Literacy & Phonics: Introducing early reading skills, letter recognition, and encouraging children to write their own names.
- Mathematics: Engaging in fun, practical problem-solving, basic counting, and understanding shapes and measures.
- Understanding the World: Hands-on science experiments, exploring nature, and learning about different cultures and communities.
Fostering True Independence
A key part of being ready for school is independence. In this room, children are actively encouraged to take charge of their own daily routines. From self-serving their meals and pouring their own drinks to independently putting on their coats, shoes, and managing their bathroom habits—we celebrate every step they take toward self-reliance.
Expert Guidance & Dedicated Ratios
To perfectly balance independent exploration with adult-led learning, we operate this room with a statutory staff-to-child ratio of [Insert exact ratio from your site, e.g., 1-to-8 or 1-to-13]. Our Early Years Educators are highly skilled at challenging the children, asking open-ended questions, and stretching their imaginations.
Your Child’s Learning Journey

You will have regular access to their personalized learning journal, which documents their proudest achievements and developmental milestones. We work closely in partnership with you to ensure a smooth, happy, and successful transition to their new primary school when the time comes.
